New Sangsomong Village Council (NSVC) and Litsami Village Council (LVC) held a joint meeting of “traditional friendship” on August 18 at New Sangsomong village. Old values of friendship between the two villages over the decades were deliberated on at the meeting, and the house appealed to all citizens of the two villages residing in different towns to uphold their relationship in their respective places. The NSVC team was led by head GB Sepikyu Sangtam and GB Chotsazi while LVC delegation was led by head GB Suhoto and GB Kehoi.

KOHIMA: The 49th general session cum fresher’s social meet of Chakhesang Students’ Union Kohima (CSUK) would be held on September 4, 9 am at State Academy Hall, Kohima with Dr. Neikiesalie Kire, Advisor MTF, Chairman Khadi & Village Industries Board Nagaland as chief guest. The union has informed that bus service wuold be provided to Japfü Christian College, St. Joseph College, Sazolie College and Kohima Science College Jotsoma from 7 am onwards.

DIMAPUR: Japukong student conference (JSC) has convened an executive council meeting on September, 11 am at the residence of its treasurer Headquarter Longchem, Mokokchung. All subordinate village units, seniors and executives have been to attend the meeting.
