Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MCCI) has launched its Bi-monthly magazine “Commercial Frontier”. The magazine was launched with an objective to educate those in the business sector and to ‘edify the consumers on the rights and protection of consumer and the seller on their duties towards their customers’.
The official bulletin of MCCI in its first issue stated that MCCI was formulating an ‘Action Plan’ with a clear vision to encourage entrepreneurs to take up production/manufacturing units based on locally available materials to create market linkages with business houses outside the state. It also encourages creation of facilities like hotels, Paying Guest etc. for tourist, research scholars etc.
MCCI opined that local government should play its role to facilitate flow of tourist from neighboring states, scholars and technician to the district freely. DC Mokokchung, Lithrongla G.Chishi in a message said the Bi-monthly bulletin of MCCI would serve as an ‘enlightening conduit’ to the users about developing economy and also to stay abreast of the competitive environment in trade commerce and industry. She also said the bulletin would constructively uplift the economy of Mokokchung district and Nagaland at large.
