Along with the rest of the country, Teachers’ Day celebration will be held at Town Hall Mokokchung on September 5,9 a.m with DC Lithrongla G. Chishi as the chief guest. The programme is being organized under the aegis of Ao Students’ Conference (AKM). All retired and serving teachers and 30 students from GMS and above have been informed to attend the programme.
Meanwhile, Mokokchung has notified that sale of token flags in Mokokchung town would be done only by members of Bharat Scouts & Guides in uniform on September 3 and 4. The DC informed that action would be initiated against any agency/student body found violating the order, as per provisions of law.
LONGLENG: Phom Students Conference will be organizing the Teachers day programme on September 5,1pm Longleng at Lempong convention hall. The teachers’ day award, award for the winner of the essay competition organized by the Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency and PSC Award for the best teacher 2010 would be given away.
PEREN: Deputy inspector of schools (DIS) Peren has informed all government high schools/higher secondary schools and private high schools to collect Teachers’ Day token from district education officer (DEO) Peren. Meanwhile, all government middle schools and primary schools have been informed to collect the tokens from DIS Peren.
