Dr. Shurhozelie lauds pioneers of NSBSG movement

Nagaland State Bharat Scouts & Guides (NSBSG) held its 33rd State Council meeting 2010 from Life Members’ Building Conference Hall, State Hq. Bayavu Hill Kohima on August 31.
Speaking on the occasion as chief guest, Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu and also the President of NSBSG lauded pioneers of scouts & guides movement in the State, which started in 1967. He said based on aims and objectives, the movement was to build the character and inculcate sense of responsibility and by producing man of character and sense of responsibility we are creating an asset for future and suggested that continue efforts should be made to look into possibilities in exploring to bring more boys & girls into this great movement.
Dr. Liezietsu also appeal for quality Scouts & Guides and congratulated all the State and National awardees for bringing laurel to the State and in particular to NSBSG and said one should not be complacent but move forward in uplifting this gigantic movement.
Earlier Zakieo Metha, State Secretary NSBSG presented the annual report of 2009-10, welcome address was proposed by Nino Iralu, State Commissioner (Guides) and meeting was chaired by Khyomo Lotha,Ex.MP and vice president Nagaland State Bharat Scouts & Guides.
