AYO consultative tour to Angami region
KOHIMA: Angami Youth Organization (AYO) would be undertaking a consultative tour to all its four ranges under the theme ‘AYO Year of Social Networking’ on climate change, resources conservation and bio-diversity. AYO will undertake tour to Chakhro, Southern Angami, Northern Angami and Western Angami tentatively from September 15 to 25 next. The tour and the subsequent meeting will highlight the advantages of ecological balance as well as its social implication with Thepfülhouvi Solo, Neiketu Iralu, Bano Haralu and Dr. Keyiekhrie Kire as the main resource persons. The tentative dates of the tour and subsequent meeting with the ranges are SAYO- September 15, CYO- September 18 at CPO Hall, Chumukedima, WAYO-September 22 at Zubza and NAYO-September 25 at Chiephobozou.
NWC to conduct Women Seminar
KOHIMA: Nagaland Women Commission (NWC) would be organizing Women Seminar for Wakching, Tizit and Naginimora Sub-Divisions on the theme “Towards a New Horizon” with special emphasis on ‘Legal Rights & Women, Importance of Health & Education for Women and “Empowerment of Women” from September 7. N Hushili Sema IAS, Secretary, Nagaland Women Commission has informed five delegates from each village under the respective Sub-Divisions and also a woman Church leader, Women representatives of VDB, an Anganwadi worker, a village ASHA Worker and either the Chairman or Head GB of the village to attend the seminar.
School survey training in Peren
KOHIMA: All India school survey training for SIS and coordinator under Peren district will be held on September 9, 10 am at EBRC Conference hall Peren town. Resource person for the training include Lima System Analysis, Namgwa, Statistical Assistant and Ibosile Date Entry Operator DMA (SSA) Peren.
Driver’s union meeting
Kohima : Executive meeting of Nagaland Directorate & District Govt Driver’s Union will be held on September 11, 10 am at CANSSEA Conference hall. All executive members have been requested to attend the meeting.
HRUD general meeting
DIMAPUR: Hoshepu range union Dimapur (HRUD) has convened a general meeting on September 4, 9 am at the residence of G Ikuto Zhimomi (Banker) 3 mile, Thilixu village Dimapur. All the members have been requested to attend the meeting.
DPSU general meeting
DIMAPUR: Dimapur Phom student union (DPSU) has convened a general meeting on September 4, 9 am at the residence of Pongtei Phom, treasurer DPSU. All the students have been requested to attend the meeting along with their membership fees for the current year.
NSAMB meeting deferred
DIMAPUR: Nagaland state agricultural marketing board meeting (NSAMB) scheduled to be held on September 3 at Hotel Japfu has been postponed. NSAMB informed that date and venue for the meeting would be circulated in due time.
NBPU 9th general conference
DIMAPUR: The 9th general conference of Nagaland Baptist pastors’ union (NBCC) would be held from September 8 to 10 with theme “Feed my Sheep” at Town Baptist church Dimapur. All the pastors, associate pastors and assistant pastors have been requested to attend the conference.
Dimapur DCC felicitation program
DIMAPUR: Dimapur district congress committee (DCC) would be organizing a felicitation programme on September 4 at 2 pm. All the office bearers of ACCC, AMCC, DYC, DMCC, District Minority cell, Sevadal, NSUI, NPCC, NMPCC, MLAs of Dimapur and outgoing DCC office bearers have been requested to attend the function.
DPSH emergency meeting
DIMAPUR: Dimapur Phughi Sumi Hoho (DPSH) has convened an emergency meeting on September 4, 3 pm at the residence of Pukhavi Yepthomi, Banker (Former DMC) at Niu Colony (Burma camp). All the executive members, Khel chairmans, Secretary and GBs have been requested to attend the meeting.
AR free medical camp at Tobu
DIMAPUR: Assam Rifles conducted free Medical Camp at Tobu Town on August 30 and 31under aegis of headquarters 7 Sector Assam Rifles. A total of 834 patients which included 255 children received free medical treatment and free medicines. The camp conducted from early morning till late evening to attend to the patients who had come from far away villages.
ENSU general session
MOKOKCHUNG: 8th general session of Eastern Nagaland Students’ Union (ENSU) Mokokchung would be held on September 4, 10:30 a.m at Chang Baptist Church Mokokchung. All members have been informed to attend the meeting.
Essay competition
KIPHIRE: In commemoration of 125 years of the Indian National Congress, the National Students’ Union of India Kiphire Unit held an essay competition at Zisaji Prasidency College Kiphire (ZPC) on August 25 on the topic “Historic achievements of Indian National Congress for the last 125 years”. Vice President of NSUI Kiphire unit Henato Awomi has inform winners collect their prize from Ingenious Print Kiphire on or before September 8 by producing their admit card.
