Parliamentary secretary social welfare and women development Chotisuh Sazo has evolved a novel scheme known as ‘Community Based Rural Health Scheme’ in collaboration with Bethel Medical Centre Kohima for the people of 18th Chozuba Constituency.
The scheme envisages insurance coverage for all the people of the constituency who have not been covered under RSBY irrespective of party affiliation. Through this scheme registered patients would be entitled to free OPD check ups, X-rays, ultrasound, blood investigation, endoscopies, colonoscopies, holter, ECG, audiometry, CT scan etc and a host of other allied services.
The scheme would be launched by Parliamentary Secretary Chotisuh Sazo on September 3 at Lt. Vamuzo Town Memorial hall.
The launching of the scheme will be followed by a 2 day free medical camp jointly organized and sponsored by AMRI Hospital Kolkatta, Lions Club North Kolkatta and Chotisuh Sazo Parliamentary Secretary. Doctors with expertise in nine disciplines will conduct the medical camp. All the well wishers and public of the constituency are requested to attend the launching programme of the Community Based Rural Health Scheme and also attend free medical camp on September 3 and 4 at Vamuzo Memorial Town Hall Chozuba.
