Rotary club of Dmu launches twin projects

Rotary club of Dimapur has launched twin projects Aahar and Arogya at St. Joseph Children Home, United North Block, Dimapur on September 5. The Club at present supports orphans numbering thirty four boys and girls by providing meal and first aid box with medicines for a period of three months initially.
The main highlight of the program was addressed by president Rtn Sanjay Kumar Jain who dwelt on Rotary plans and projects like Polio eradication, school students insurance and scholarship and medical etc. Others who spoke on the occasion were project chairman, Rtn Jacob Konikkara, director community service, Rtn Tikaram Dhakal, assistant governor zone IX, RI Dist. 3240 Rtn Pradip kumar Jain, president elect Rtn, Lucy Akokla and vote of thanks by joint secretary, Rtn O P Gupta.
Father Anthony administrator of the Home lauded the effort of Rotary Club of Dimapur and expressed sincere gratitude to Rotary Club of Dimapur for rendering yeomen and humanitarian service to the down trodden. The projects were graced by Annes - lady wives of Rotarians, and Rotary lets - children of Rotarians.
