Vendors directed

Stating that the prices of vegetables, fruits and food items were being charged at exorbitant rates by the vendors particularly at Super Market Wednesday market and Purana Bazar market, the deputy commissioner Dimapur has directed all vendors to sell their goods as per the price fixed and as per the rates displayed in the signboards. The order stated that the labourers were also charging an exorbitant rate of Rs 200 per day when it should not exceed Rs 120 per day. The DC in the order said defaulters of the order would be arrested and prosecuted in accordance with the law.
