Regional camp on sculptor, woodcarving

Lalit Kala Akademi Regional Centre, Kolkata in collaboration with the department of Art & Culture, Nagaland would be organizing an eight day regional interactive camp in woodcarving from August 21 at 'The Heritage", Kohima. 12 sculptors and woodcarvers from different NE states would be participating in the camp organized with the objective to facilitate local sculptors and woodcarvers to broaden their outlook in the profession. K Kughazhe Yepthomi, additional director and hod, art & culture informed in a release. Deo Nukhu, Advisor Art & Culture, Nagaland would inaugurate the camp on August 21 at the Heritage at 2 pm while demonstration of techniques and creation of sculptural pieces by each participant would continue till August 27 which would be open for public view and interaction.
