IGNOU-CNRI special study centre opens in Tuensang

Indira Gandhi National Open University special study centre –cum- induction programme for social welfare society Tuensang was inaugurated by senior accountant consultant IGNOU regional centre Kohima Tsipithong, as chief guest on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Tsipithong said CNRI was a rural NGO and was collaborating in order to monitor and work in village level with accurate and factual figures of educational carrier and its population.
He also said that, IGNOU was established in 1986 and was the only central Open University which covered 34 countries and had recognized the educational policy in a right way. Tsipithong also assured up gradation of BA level, diploma, infrastructure and video conferencing in the institution in order to challenge with the rest of the other students in the field of educational policy.
He also informed that IGNOU would provide TV/ VCD for readymade lecturer for he assured to discuss the matter with the director. He urged advisor and NGO’s of the society to strive with positive attitude towards the students so as to bring a new achievement in the institution in particular and district in general.
Chotsase Sangtam Advisor to social welfare society also urged the students to expose the policy of IGNOU in the rural areas. He also said, there are so many innovative programme and policies under IGNOU and encouraged them to study with seriously in order to bring a good name to the institution.
