Notes of gratitude

PVC & PSA: Phek Village Council (PVC) and Phek Sports Association (PSA) have expressed heartfelt gratitude to the department of Public Work Department (PWD) Phek specially the executive engineer for providing the department bull dozer for the extension of the Phek Local Ground clearing the requisite site of the ground which is on the verge of completion.
The council and association also extended cooperation to the department in their future course of endeavor and appealed the department to provide its best efforts in building up the rural people in the long run.
ANPSA Zbto: All Nagaland Private Schools Association (ANPSA) Zunheboto unit has thanked all the schools in the district who participated in the recently concluded science seminar on “India and the world science: Are we there?” a State program organized by the Directorate of School Education. The unit also lauded the winners – Toboli of Olympic Hr. Sec. School, Vikato of Olympic Hr. Sec. School and Lovi of Kiddies Lane who bagged the first, second and third positions respectively. The association wished them success as they represent at the state level. The program which was held on August 20 at Love Dale Higher Secondary School was graced by Govind Jaiswal IAS, SDO(Civil) as chief guest.
Sumi Catholic Community Kohima: Sumi Catholic Community Kohima expressed gratitude to Rev. Fr Paul Inashe OFM. Cap. Asst. Priest of Akuluto Centre for conducting one day retreat for Sumi Community on August 21 last at SFS Church Kohima.
It also expressed gratitude to Rev Fr Abraham Parish Priest and Sister Cicilia for every help and encouragement for the retreat and further informed that Sumi Community will have another mass on August 29 at 10 am in the same Church with Fr. Mathias OFM. Cap. Parish Priest of Lazami as celebrant. All Sumi Catholic Community have been requested to attend the mass.
ENSUG: Eastern Nagaland Students’ Union Guwahati (ENSUG) has expressed gratitude to chief minister of Nagaland, Nepheiu Rio for donating Rs.30000 towards the union for its annual Fresher’s day programme to be held in the month of Septembers.
SUPCC: The Public College of Commerce (PCC) students union lauded Dimapur police for apprehending the accused who kidnapped one of its member, Paul Mukherjee. President of the union A Anito Zhimomi also further condemned the incident and warned anti-social elements to refrain from kidnapping students.
