GWC, Mon, NCFV freshers’ meet

Government Wangkhao College (GWC) 27th freshers’ meet was held on August 18 at the college complex with deputy commissioner, Dinesh Kumar IAS as chief guest.
DC encouraged students to develop good personality to excel in any profession. He also cautioned the students to abstain from indulging in bad habits which were rampant among the youth today. He also pointed out that the freshers could learn not only from their teachers but from seniors, by coordinating and having good rapport with them.
The programme was also marked by a variety of entertainments. Meanwhile, Manyao and Henau were selected as Mr. and Miss freshers respectively.
Meanwhile, the third freshers’ day of Nagaland Christian Fellowship Visakhapatnam (NCFV) was held on August 21 at Crack Valley, Bheemunipatnam. Andhra Pradesh.
Praise and worship was led by New Life Bible Colleg, invocation by P. Inaho Yeptho M.Th.II (Church History) COTR Theological Seminary, Treasurer NCFV, followed by welcome speech by Nchumpemo Shitio, president of NCFV. Special number was presented by Love and Care Ministries Visakhapatnam, exhortation by Kepili Sangtam M.Div.II, COTRTS.
Amos Ezung M.Th.II (Church History) COTR Theological Seminary, Visakhapatnam and general secretary, NCFV, shared the word of God on the topic Regret or be repentant, taken from St Luke, 16:19-31.
Sharing the word of God, Ezung encouraged students to uphold Christian principle and follow the good step and moral teaching of Jesus Christ. Vote of thanks was proposed by Khelivi B.Th. III year Visakha Bible College and benediction by I. Sheheli Yeptho. Altogether, 60 students Students from different institutions in Visakhapatnam attended the programme.
