KH, SH support reconciliation

Two apex Naga tribal bodies – Kyong Hoho and Sümi Hoho – have reaffirmed their stand to extend all out cooperation towards the ongoing unity and reconciliation process till it reached “logical conclusion.”
This reaffirmation evolved in a joint consultative meeting of Kyong hoho and Sumi hoho September 17 held at Kyong tribal council hall, Wokha, a joint press release issued by Kyong hoho president Yansangthung Jami and Hokishe Yepthomi stated.
According to signatories, the meet lauded the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) for organizing meeting with the “senior Naga political group leaders” on September 18, as per the signing of covenant of reconciliation.
Meanwhile, it appealed to all responsible Naga political group leaders to be sincere in their commitment to reconcile through “Christian spirit” by burying all past hatched and arrive at a high comprehensive “real reconciliation” to resolve vexed “Indo-Naga political problem.”
The meeting further decided to meet more often so as to strengthen the bondage of brotherhood, said Jami and Yepthomi.
