CWO: Chakhroma Women Organisation (CWO) has condemned the alleged threat on chairperson of Diphupar Women Society by some armed miscreants at her residence on September 2 for carrying out liquor prohibition drive at Diphupar area. The organization stated that such drives were being conducted, taking into consideration the lives of the upcoming generation, which should be supported by all citizens. Condemning the act, CWO extended its support to Diphupar Women Society in the liquor prohibition drive.
AKTV: Angami KrothoToulazouma Village has expressed shocked and grief over the killing of Vetsüzo Veyie of Toulazouma village on September 7 by unknown miscreants. Union maintained that such inhuman and heinous acts should be condemned by one and all.
CSU: Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) has expressed shock at the gruesome murder of Vetsüzo Veyie of Thipüzu village by unidentified miscreants on September 7 at 4th Mile, Dimapur. While condemning the heinous and barbaric act, union asserted that such despicable act could be committed only by insane beings and such crime had no place in Naga society. CSU further appealed to the responsible authority to nab the culprit and award befitting punishment. Union further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members.
