The Kyong Hoho (KH) has extended its support to government’s decision to firmly deal with the corruption in issuing fake and bogus appointment in the education department.
A press note issued by general secretary, Kyong Hoho Michael Yanthan stated the Hoho has been constraint to issue the statement following all the press statements given by various groups and individuals concerning the prevailing situation, caused by the termination order issued by the Nagaland state government in regard to the bogus appointment.
While sympathizing with the genuine aggrieved teacher’s, the Hoho stated that as per the press note issued by the School education department, Kohima in a local daily dated 14th Sept 2010 Vide No. -EDS/A-6/2009, Dated Kohima the 13th Sept ‘2010 gave clear evidence based on which the department had taken the action to terminate/cancel all fraudulent appointments after issuing show cause notice.
The Kyong Hoho therefore found no reason as to why any group or individual should personalize the issue.
The Hoho also stated that official implementing government orders/directions does so as government official and not in individual capacity and that it was not advisable for any group or individual to express their resentment against a person/official of the government.
