Appreciating the “highest level meeting” of the three leaders- N.Kitovi ‘ato kilonser’ GPRN/NSCN, Th. Muivah ‘ato kilonser’ NSCN (I-M) and Brig (retd) S. Singnya, ‘kedaghe’ NNC/FGN on September 18, CLP leader Tokheho Yepthomi said the meeting was a clear sign to strengthen the reconciliation process. In a statement, Tokheho said their “commitment to be reconciled on the basis of historical and political rights of the Nagas”, “commitment to work out the differences” as outlined in the COR and the “commitment to cease all forms of hostilities” was a yearning of all Nagas. He further said no force or element should dislodge this historical move adding all eyes and ears of the Nagas were on record of the movement of its leader. Congratulating the FNR for its efforts in bringing “top level leaders” together he said the CLP members appeal to the Naga leaders to remain sincere and steadfast in their commitment for peace.
