Ao Milen editor dead

Editor, Ao Milen, Sosangmeren passed away on September 19 at around 10:30 am at his residence after a prolonged illness. He was also the acting chairman of Ao Senden Literature Board and president of Ao Union Mokokchung till the time of his death. Late Sosangmeren was born on February 26, 1943 and is survived by his wife and a daughter. His funeral service would be held on September 20 at 11 am at his residence in Mongsenbai Ward, Mokokchung.
Rio condoles
Chief minister, Neiphiu Rio expressed deep pain to hear about the demise of Sosangmeren of Ungma Village. Rio in a condolence message to Mrs Aosangla said Late Sosangmeren was actively involved in politics since his youth and always remained firm to his principles and beliefs.
Rio described Late Sosangmeren as an “ardent regionalist” who worked in various capacities in the party right from the days of UFN and lately as the vice president of NPF. The chief minister said Late Sosangmeren would always be remembered for his valuable services to the NPF party and for his tireless contribution towards the well being of the people.
Rio conveyed heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family and prayed for granting them solace and strength to withstand the irreparable loss. He also prayed for the departed sou1 to rest in eternal peace.
Meanwhile, the Mokokchung Press Club condoled the demise of Sosangmeren who was the advisor of the press club.
