New ATM booth at Bara Bosti, Kohima

State Bank of India inaugurated its 45th ATM in Nagaland at Kohima village, Bara Bosti on September 18. The ATM was inaugurated by Gautam Banerjee, deputy general manager, SBI Local Head Office, Guwahati, in the presence of A.K Das, AGM RBO Dimapur and S.H Leo, AGM (office) Kohima Branch.
The SBI inaugurated its 45th ATM at Kohima village to commemorate World Bamboo Day at Kisama Naga Heritage village and also to crown the Biggest Village in Asia, i.e., Bara Bosti.
AGM, SBI Regional Business Office, Dimapur stated the move signified the Bank cherish rural population of Nagaland and such banking facilities at the doorstep of the rural people was no longer a dream but a reality now. Wide presence of SBI Branches and ATMs in Nagaland facilitate easy access of banking facilities to the people of the state as well as vitiating growth and development of economy of the state.
Customers have been requested to make optimum use of the facility for convenient banking.
