Two killed by Maoists in Orissa

Two people including a "sarpanch" (village council head) were killed Monday by Maoists in Orissa's Koraput district, police said. Another person sustained serious injuries.
A group of four Maoist rebels opened fire at local sarpanch Rabi Khera when he was driving a motorcycle with two others to attend a ceremony in a nearby village, a police officer told IANS. Two people including Khera died on the spot. Another person sustained critical injuries, he said.
