GPRN/NSCN secretariat staff meeting
DIMAPUR: An emergency meeting of all rank and files in the GPRN/NSCN (from office assistant to the head of ministry/dept.) has been convened on September 21 at designated camp, Khehoi at 10am. Secretary to GPRN Vikheto Kiba has directed all HoD’s to promptly inform their subordinates to attend the same positively.
NCP meeting
KOHIMA: State executive committee of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Kohima has convened a meeting on September 23, 4 pm at Hotel Japfü Kohima. All qualified members have been asked to attend the meeting.
ANAATA meeting
KOHIMA: A meeting of All Nagaland Aggrieved Adhoc Teachers Association (ANAATA) would be held on September 23, 10 am at LCS building near Ao Church. All Adhoc teachers who missed the suitability test conducted at ATI during 2005 have been invited for the meeting and to contact 9612190530 for information.

DIMAPUR: Entertainment committee of Noklak road show-cum-Tsokum festival has informed that entertainment programs would be held from October 1 to 5 at Noklak town. SP Kohima on arms license
DIMAPUR: Superintendent of police, Kohima has informed owners of arms license submitted to Special Investigation Team (SIT), Kohima for 3rd phase arms license verification to collect their respective arms license from South Police Station, Kohima on or before October.

DIMAPUR: Sumi Hoho has convened a general meeting on September 28, 10 am at the conference hall of its Old Town office. All executive members, advisors, frontal organizations including SKH, STH, WSH, NSSH, ESSH, KSSH, DSSH, MSSH, SMM, SLB and SGOUN have been requested to attend the meeting.

DIMAPUR: Dimapur Sumi Students’ Union (DSSU) has informed all its members of higher secondary schools, colleges and colonies/sectors convened a meeting on September 21, 10 am at Nagaland Science Centre, Supermarket Dimapur. Union president has informed that the meeting would discuss matters relating to its forthcoming freshers’ meet.
Candidates for Ph.D degree in Zoology informed
DIMAPUR: Candidates who have applied for pursuing Ph.D degree in Zoology under Nagaland University have been informed that there will be an entrance test followed by interview on October 5 at 10:30am in the department of zoology, Nagaland University, Lumami campus. Applicants have also been requested to bring all original documents and testimonials for verification.
LCYA president resigns
Dimapur: The Lotha Catholic Youth Association (LCYA) president Michael Bithungo Ezung has resigned citing personal reasons. When contacted, LCYA president stated he would be resigning from the post with immediate effect and has urged the LCYA members to understand his inability to serve as president of the association.
