Bamboo art and tailoring programs underway

A training programme on stitching & tailoring for 10 BPL women and bamboo art and product training for 15 BPL personnel was inaugurated on September 20 at CRPF 173 Bn. headquarter Dimapur with BSNL NE-II circle CGM Ranjan Sanyal as chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest lauded the CRPF deployed in Nagaland for their efforts in maintaining peace in the state, and CRPF 173 Bn. for its efforts to make women self-reliant. DIG (OPS) CRPF Kohima A.V. Chauhan and CRPF 173 Bn. commandant Anupam Sharma also graced the function among others.
The training programme, which is part of CRPF civic action programme 2009-10, would be conducted on stitching & tailoring from September 21-30 and bamboo art andproduct from September 21-27.
