Vice chancellor Nagaland University has announced candidates who have been qualified for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in various departments under Nagaland University. The qualified candidates include T. Zarenthung Ezung department of economics on “Nutrition and poverty assessment in Nagaland: A case study of Wokha district”; Imkongwapang department of Zoology on “Studies on the diversity and status of Helminth Parasites in Anuran Amphibian of Nagaland (North-East India)”; Manoj Dutta department of soil conservation “Effect nutrient management practices on the status and quality of soil fertility determinants and performance of upland rice (qryza sativa L) on newly constructed bench terraces”; Temsurenla department of education on “Study of the perspectives of educational technology application in educational institutions of Nagaland” and Pranabjyoti department of horticulture on “Biometrical studies on colocasis (colocasis esculenta ‘L’) germplasm”.
