Dmu Adm. restricts transport of essentials

Dimapur district administration has ordered that all essential commodities available in Dimapur town would not be transported to neighbouring state of Assam and Manipur till economic blockade was lifted. This order was enforced in view of the economic blockade imposed by All Assam students’ union (ASSU) against Nagaland. According to an order issued by DC Dimapur Maong Aier this action was being carried out in view of limited stock essential commodities available in Dimapur. All traders of Dimapur town have been requested to maintain prices of essential commodities and not to create artificial scarcity of essentials. Meanwhile, the Dimapur district administration, in a separate order has banned the use of fire crackers in Dimapur town with immediate effect. It has however exempted the use of soundless and decorative crackers.
