Sanitary napkin vending machines now in Nagaland

Under the aegis of CCDU (PHED), Nagaland and Sulabh School Sanitation Club, New Delhi in collaboration with school education department, installation of sanitary napkin vending machines in five selected schools of Kohima district will be inaugurated on September 27 at 12 noon at Mount Sinai School Kohima. Minister for PHED Dr. Ngangshi K. Ao will grace the occasion as the chief guest while Anita Jha, senior vice president Sulabh International Social Service Organization, New Delhi will be the guest of honour.
The function will be chaired by Er. Kevisekho Kruse, executive director CCDU. Short speeches will also be delivered by Langshung Anal, principal Mt. Sinai School and Zaveyi Nyekha, District Education Officer, Kohima.
Vote of thanks will be proposed by Er. Agwaseng Kent, executive engineer, CCDU. The installation of sanitary Napkin vending machines a first of its kind in Nagaland is part of the total sanitation campaign efforts for realizing the dream of Clean India (Nirmal Bharat) by the year 2012.
