Hindi Diwas observed at Wokha

All Nagaland Hindi Teachers Union, Wokha unit organized its first district level Hindi Diwas celebration on September 16 at LTC Hall Wokha with DIS Wokha Solanthung Humtsoe and president Zubenthung Humtsoe ANSTA unit as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest emphasized on the need and importance of Hindi language and urged the teachers to give their best service reminding of their responsibilities.
The guest of honour asked the teachers to rededicate themselves and perform their duties for the welfare of the community.
The chief guest also awarded certificate and cash prize to the winner of the essay competition.
The competition was held on the topic “Importance of National Language Hindi”. Gilgal school, Springdale school and L.M school were awarded the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place respectively.
Short speech was also delivered by the principal VMHC Wokha, Tokiye Peter Sema, while K.P. Lotha principal RBPS delivered the Hindi Diwas message. President ANHTU Wokha unit, .Konthungo Ezung delivered the welcome address and Vungthunglo Ezung chaired the function. ANHTU, Wokha Unit has expressed gratitude to the minister of agricultural, Dr. Chumben Murry for extending financial support to the union to host the 1st district level Hindi Dewas celebration which was held on September 16.
