CBCC reaffirms its stand

Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC) in its executive meeting held on September 21 reaffirmed its stand on Naga reconciliation and prohibition act.
The meeting acknowledged the leading hands of God in enabling the highest level reconciliation meeting of Naga National leaders on September 18 in Dimapur.
Chakhesang Baptist Church Council in a press release issued by its president Nungoyi Khesoh and executive secretary Rev. Vezopa Tetseo lauded the concerted prayers of all believers, Christians around the world and congratulated those who were instrumental in bringing epoch-making summit particularly under the aegis of Forum for Naga Reconciliation.
CBCC also congratulated the visionary and patriotic leadership of NSCN/GPRN, GPRN/NSCN and the NNC/FGN for their commitment to “Covenant of Reconciliation”. Chakhesang Baptist Church Council also reaffirmed its commitment to pray and uphold Naga Reconciliation process and fulfillment of “Covenant of Reconciliation”.
Further, commending the stand of NBCC on the prohibition Act, CBCC reaffirmed its commitment to co-operate and support with all positive changes and necessary amendments in the Act to curb liquor.
