CSDD cautions on banned, expired good

Consumer Society Dimapur district (CSDD) has informed public in every areas and towns to check inflow of banned items, expiry of goods without MRP rate, date and adulterated food items being sold in their respective areas. CSDD also informed all business establishment not to sell illegal goods and to ban all sorts of ‘gutkhas’ and restricted medicine and also to maintain original cash memo along with VAT number. CSDD has informed sub-divisions, towns and areas within Dimapur to select two active persons as area representative member to CSDD for further correspondence. Consumers have also been directed not to pay extra money for meat and fish rate fixed by the authority or rate control DMC. Meanwhile, CSDD has expressed gratitude to Diphupar Naga Students’ Union, youth, women welfare society and Aghunato students’ union, women Hoho for their active role in conducing mobile checking and seizing IMFL and banned items in their respective areas.
