YAN coordination meeting
DIMAPUR: Coordination committee meeting of Youth Association of Nagaland (YAN) has been convened on September 28 at its office adjacent to Hotel Saramati OB-3 at 2pm. All colony youth presidents and general secretarieshave been informed to attend the meeting.
SAKK executive meeting
DIMAPUR: Sumi Aphuyemi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu (SAKK) has convened an executive meeting on September 30, 11am at its banker’s residence at Kohima. All members have been informed to attend the meeting.
DREAN session
DIMAPUR: Direct Recruit Engineers’ Association of Nagaland (DREAN) will hold its annual general session on October 1 at Hotel Japfü Kohima from 10.30 a.m. The association has informed that registration for new members and annual membership fees from registered members would also be collected. All members of DREAN, NPWD who were directly recruited through NPSC in the level of SDO have been requested to submit agendas for discussion.
Program on banking ombudsman scheme
DIMAPUR: Reserve Bank of India, Guwahati would be organizing an awareness programme on banking ombudsman scheme at Dimapur centre on September 27, 2:30 pm, at Hotel Saramati.
Physiotherapist degree holders informed
DIMAPUR: Dr. Awoto, president, Nagaland physiotherapists association (NPA) has informed all Physiotherapist degree holders to register their names before October 2. For further details one may contact 9856368238/9862791700.
VCS & SBC prayer meeting
DIMAPUR: Village council Sapotimi and Sapotimi Baptist Church would be organizing a special prayer meeting on October 2. All the members of Sapotimi village residing in different places and Saptomi Kughuko union Dimapur have been requested to attend the prayer meeting.
LBSA inter school art competition
DIMAPUR: Literary Board Suruhuto Area (LBSA) would conduct an inter school art competition on October 2 at Suruhuto town. The board has informed that the competition would include quiz, extempore, spell bee, essay, recitation, drawing and psychology test. NRE joint director Er. Vitoshe Rochill and DEO Zunheboto Ghuzui Shohe will be gracing the occasion as guest speakers. The board would also award LBSA trophy for all round championship for both middle school level and primary school level. All teachers of schools under Suruhuto area have been requested to attend the competition along with participating students.
DKSU inform members
DIMAPUR: Dimapur Kyong Students Union (DKSU) has informed all members that its office attached at Lotha Hoho Ki, Court Junction would be open from 10 am to 12 noon every Friday and Saturday. It therefore urged everyone to contact or approach its office during working hours for any matter.
BBFS 2nd annual day
DIMAPUR: The energetic tiny-tots of Blooming Buds Foundation School (BBFS) staged an entertaining one hour session amidst parents, local villagers, staff and cadets of Sainik School, Punglwa on the occasion of its second annual day on September 24. The highlight of the programme were songs, dances, skit with a moral story and rhymes including a dramatised railway station scene brought in plethora of famous personalities through the fancy-dresses.
SCFG youth camp
DIMAPUR: Sumi Christian fellowship Guwahati organized a youth camp on September 10 to 12 at RRTC, Umran, Shillong on the theme ‘reaching for a new height’ with Dr. Hokheto Chophi, youth secretary, SBAK Nitomount, as camp director, Akato Yeptho, Zhekheli Zhimo and Katoli Achumi as divine ushers. There were 78 campers led by Kughaho K Chishi, chaplain SCFG. Jaffet Aye and Tokali Yeptho were adjudged as ‘mister and miss camper’.
AIAJ meet discusses on future plans
DIMAPUR: All Indian Antyodaya Yojana (AIAJ) conducted meeting on September 17 at BJP central office conference hall, New Delhi on the theme ‘Developmental politics through social activity need of the hour’. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Manoharlalji, national convenor Antyodaya Yojana.
A press note issued by BJP state office secretary Lachit Kachari stated that Nitin Gadkariji explained on aims and objectives of Antyodaya Yojana followed by lighting of the lamp. Highlights of the meeting included welcome address by Manoharlalji, Vande Mataram and introduction of the members and discussion of various types of projects, future programs.
Accounts trg at Shamator
DIMAPUR: Training on maintenance of Mid day meal (MDM), SSA accounts and office accounts matter was held on Sept 14 at EBRC conference hall Shamator. Resource person for the seminar was Chessore SIS James Tokiu and GPS Muleangkiur head teacher Richingkhum. DIS Shamator Chubanungla notified on criteria for selection of best WEC/VEC under Shamator-Chessore. MDM items including rice, cooking costs and cook’s honorarium was distributed to all schools.
AISGDF conference
DIMAPUR: All India state government driver’s federation (AISGDF) (CC) secretary general has informed that state conference of Nav, Nirmit, Vahan, Chalak and Sanghatma Maharasta would be held on October 3 at Shegaon (Buldhana district) Maharastra state.
SASU meeting
DIMAPUR: Sakipheto area student union (SASU) has convened a meeting on September 28, 10am at the residence of S G Hollo, member Medizephema town council (union banker).
