CSDD to conduct consumer awareness
DIMAPUR: Consumer Society Dimapur District (CSDD) to promote consumer awareness in the district for consumer rights and protection would be conducting ‘Consumer awareness campaign’ at all levels in the district phase wise.
CYO emergency meeting
DIMAPUR: Emergency meeting of Chakhesang Youth Organisation (CYO) Dimapur has been convened on September 29, 10am at the residence of Vekhosayi Nyekha at Diphupar B. All affiliated unit presidents, representatives have been requested to attend the meeting.
PCC fresher’s meet
DIMAPUR: The 25th freshers’ day of Public College of Commerce (PCC) would be held on September 28 at 10 a.m at Town Hall. Students’ Union Public College of Commerce has informed students of PCC to attend the freshers’ day in full college uniform.
DSSU meeting
DIMAPUR: Meeting of Dimapur Sumi Students’ Union (DSSU) has been convened on September 28, 12 noon at Science Centre Dimapur. The union has requested all schools and colleges to attend the meeting.
Fazl Ali College inform degree students
DIMAPUR: The principal of Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung, Kuholi Chishi has informed degree students, BA/B.Sc I, II & III year repeaters of Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung to fill up their upcoming university examination forms from the examination office of the college from October 4 to 7 during office hours. All students have been informed to bring all relevant original documents along with photostat copies for verification and submission.
Vaccination camp conducted at Jalukie
DIMAPUR: One day programme on vaccination campaign -cum- training on anti- rabies was conducted at Jalukie B village on September 23. ATMA BTT convener Jalukie block Zieleigai Ndang highlighted on the nature and activities of ATMA. Dr. Namsui BTT member Jalukie block and resource person dwelling on rabies said rabies was a viral disease with zoonotic importance as it was transmitted from animal to human and vice versa. Since it poses health risk to human beings, he called upon all pet owners to get their dogs vaccinated for precautionary measurers. Altogether 50 pet dogs were vaccinated and certificate of vaccination were issued to pet owners.
Condolence message
DIMAPUR: Lazami Students’ Union has mourned the demise of Allu Wotsa GB and a retired teacher of Lazami village who passed away on September 24. The union in a condolence message stated late Allu was a dynamic teacher, an educationist and a visionary leader. While acknowledging the contribution of late Allu towards the society and the students’ fraternity, it conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.

Dimapur: SMS has been circulating in Dimapur which reads “please do not answer any call from these numbers coming in red color as it may lead to brain hemorrhage”.The numbers are : 7888308001, 9316048121, 9876266211, 9888854137, 9876715587.
CRSU grateful
DIMAPUR: Chukitong Range Students’ Union (CRCU) thanked Aircel company for providing free medical check up, medicines and SIM cards to denizens of Chukitong town. CRCU president, T. Phyobemo Kikon said it was first of its kind in the area by any cellular company and expressed hope that it would continue to extend services in the coming days.

DIMAPUR: New Riphyim Khumshim (NRK) Wokha Town has felicitated Tsenchibemo Odyuo on being conferred to Chief Conservative of Forest (PRU) Nagaland. NRK stated that Tsenchibemo Odyuo was the first to hold the prestigious post among the Englan range.
