CRPF organises bee keeping training

78 Bn CRPF, Zubza, Kohima organized training programme on beekeeping for three days from September 25 in co-operation with Nagaland beekeeping and Honey Mission, Kohima.
P.M. Ramalingam, DIGP (Ops) CRPF Kohima, graced the occasion as the chief guest and Arun Jha, Dy.Comdt, now Commandant- in-Charge -78 Bn CRPF presided over the function. The programme was attended by various prominent people like village Chairmans, GBs, officials of CRPF, local organizations and representatives from Churches, Schools etc.
P.M. Ramalingam presented the beekeeping box with its accessories to the chairman and participants of Sechu (Zubza), Sechuma, Peducha, Kiruphema and Jotsoma villages on behalf of 78 Bn CRPF.
While speaking at the function, he said CRPF was a respectable force rendering sincere and selfless service to the nation.
Apart from performance of their normal duties, CRPF is also constantly involved in social development works through their civic action programme.
The three day training programme was conducted by CRPF with the help of a team of experts from Nagaland Beekeeping & Honey Mission led by Nelia Zono, Member NBHM, Kohima in-charge.
The training programme was attended by 30 villagers from Sechu Zubza, Sechuma, Peducha, Kiruphema and Jotsoma etc.
Commandant in-charge of 78 Bn CRPF assured the CRPF would extend all possible support to the villages of Western Angami Region whenever there was any need.
The programme was organized as a goodwill gesture to improve the sense of fraternity among the youth and also remove the gap between the local people and CRPF troops.
The closing ceremony was held on Monday at Zubza village.
