Indian Youth Congress (IYC) would be conducting a talent search programme in Nagaland to induct various gifted persons to the youth Congress organization. IYC officials, young MPs and ministers would be involved for the talent search programme.
This was informed at Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress (NPYC) at its quarterly executive meeting on September 28 at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur.
During the meet, the house deliberated on various important issues concerning the youth Congress. Rizwan Arshad, secretary, Indian Youth Congress and in charge of Nagaland on his maiden official visit to Nagaland, highlighted the activities of the Youth Congress in the state.
Addressing the house, the visiting Indian Youth Congress secretary dwelt on the importance of youth participation in the changing Indian political scenario under the able and visionary leadership of Rahul Gandhi, general secretary, All India Congress Committee and also the in-charge of Youth Congress.
Conveying a message from Rahul Gandhi, he stated Rahul has special concern for the people and development of north east India and had plan to visit all the Northeastern state to activate the youth Congress and identify potential youth leaders.
Arshad also stated that the person who does not struggle while young cannot be successful and also encouraged youth Congress leaders calling them the future of Nagaland with whom Rahul Gandhi would interact concerning development and shaping of Nagaland state.
