Annual retreat at Little Star Hr Sec school

An annual retreat for students from Class IX- XII of Little Star Higher Secondary School was conducted on Wednesday with Editor Nagaland Post Geoffrey Yaden delivering the message at closing session.
Addressing the students on the theme ‘Godliness is profitable in all things’ I Timothy 4:8, Yaden encouraged the students to experience the faithfulness of God in their daily walk, even though it was not easy.
Referring to the verse of the theme, he said the writer, Paul exhorts believers to exercise godliness for profit to eternity. He also shared some of his personal experiences to attest that God remains as faithful to those who love Him.
Chairperson of the school managing board, Nini Sekhose, in her welcome address lamented that the young people today were relegating Godly living into the church and implementing in their daily lives. She also further urged them to see the Godly living and pointed out that it will be profitable in their life and next.
Later in the afternoon session, Zhau Sanchu gave a workshop on praise and worship.
Earlier the praise and worship in the morning session was led by Cross Connection from Sinai Ministry while in the afternoon it was by Power Praise Centre. The retreat concluded with many students dedicating their lives to God.
Meanwhile the school also celebrated its annual co-curricular activities week from September 1-4 which was followed by the Teachers Day and parents’ day celebration.
Meanwhile, chairman of the school managing committee Prakash Paira informed that digital system of teaching will be introduced in the school from next academic year.
