Evidence meeting: Evidence meeting with departmental representatives of agriculture department (construction of agri link road) and adoption of 96th action taken report of education department would be held on September 14, 11 a.m in the assembly committee room, Kohima.
Idd Namaj in Dimapur: Idd-ul Fitir Namaz would be held on September 11, 8.30 am at Dimapur Iddgah prayer ground behind DDSC Stadium, Golaghat Road. Iddgah committee Dimapur informed that the prayer would be led by maulana Fuzail Ahmed, Iman Iddgah Jama Masjid. Meanwhile, Muslim Council Dimapur has greeted the people of Nagaland on the occasion of Idd-ul Fitir festival. The occasion is observed by Muslims all over the world after completion of the holy month of Ramdan, the month of prayer and fasting.
KDSUD: Kiphire District Sumi Union Dimapur (KDSUD) has convened an emergency meeting on September 12, 2 pm at the residence of its banker Khevito Chishi, at Thahekhu village.
TVSU: Tsutoho Village Students’ Union (TVSU) has convened a general meeting on September 12, 1 pm at the residence of its president at LRC Dimapur.
TSUD: Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) has informed all its executive members to attend emergency meeting convened on September 13, 4 pm at TSUD office.
PBUD: Pork Butchers’ Union Dimapur (PBUD) has convened a meeting on September 11, 9 am at its office, Walford Dimapur. All pork butchers under Dimapur district have been requested to attend the meeting.
AG churches prayer day: Assembly of God (AG) churches in Nagaland would be observing Assemblies of God Prayer Day on September 12. Informing this in a press release, AG east India general superintendent Rev. Moses Murry stated that September 12 being prayer day for Naga Christians for peace and reconciliation process, all believers were requested to fast and pray for unity, peace and healing in the land.
KTSWS: Khrimtomi Town Settlers’ Welfare Society (KTSWS) has convened a meeting on September 18, 10.30 am at the residence of Zhuhevi Assumi, Mishikito Dimapur.
Interview for PMEGP: Interview for selection of PMEGP applicants under Phek district would be held on September 16, 9.30 am at DPDB conference hall, DC office Phek. All applicants of NKVIB and DIC Phek district have been requested to produce original documents.
KLS: The 38th annual social met cum freshers’ day 2010 of Kohima Lotha Students (KLS) would be held on September 11,10 am at state academy hall Kohima on the theme ‘Boldness determines fortune’ with Ramongo Jami, IAS, additional secretary food and civil supplies as chief guest and Jonas Yanthan, senior English news reader as speaker.
Meeting on ethnic huts: Meeting in connection with ethnic huts (tribal huts) has been convened on September 13, 11:30 am in the conference hall of whole sale market, Agri Expo site 4th Mile opposite Central Jail Dimapur. All presidents, secretaries or official representatives of 16 tribes of Nagaland have been informed to attend the meeting.
DKSU: Dimapur Kyong Students’ Union will hold an emergency meeting along with former executive on September 11 at 1 pm at Lotha Hoho Ki, DC court junction.
TBSUK: Second general session of Tamlu Bühü Studetns Union Kohima (TBSUK) has been convened on September 11 at Kisama Heritage. All students from class eight and above have been informed to attend the meeting. Transportation would be made available at 9am at Red Cross junction, Kohima.
DSSU: Dimapur Sumi Students’ Union (DSSU) has convened a general meeting on September 11, 10 am at the residence of its banker, Notun Basti. All DSSU executive members, unit presidents, representatives of higher secondary schools/colleges/colony sectors have been requested to attend the meeting.
AGBCN: Association of Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland (AGBCN) youth department has convened a board meeting on September 11, 8 am at its mission centre, Singrijan Dimapur.
UBCA women conference: United Baptist Church Council (UBCA) women department would be organising first women conference from September 23 to 25 at Life Spring Corner, Dimapur. The conference would be held on the theme ‘The responsible of women in this changing world” with Rev. Y.T Lotha, president, UBCA, Sr. Pastor L. Hevuto Awomi, general secretary E/S UBCA, Kanili K. Aye women leader SBC Purana Bazar and Imtijungla Longchar lecturer DBC as theme speakers.
