Govt to develop upgradation of 74 GHS phase wise

Additional secretary to the government of Nagaland, department of school education Angau I. Thou revealed that government was ready to spend crores for the development of 74 newly upgraded government high schools in first and second phase wise manner.
In this connection, she appealed the villagers to be generous to spare more land for infrastructure of the school, else there could be no development without space or land. Angau I. Thou was speaking at the up-gradation of government high school at Naga United Village on September 9.
She called upon the village education committee and council members to maintain clean toilet facilities as a priority. According to VEC chairman Mase Vero, the school was established 30 years back as private primary school Naga united Village and was taken over by the government in 1978. Subsequently the school was upgraded as a full fledged government middle school in 1998 and later upgraded to government high school.
The inaugural function was attended by neighbouring VEC, VCC, GBs and teaching faculties.
