Reacting to reports that appeared in local dailies on September 10, wherein SP Kohima R. Tetseo allegedly made unwanted remarks to agitating members, All Nagaland Aggrieved Adhoc Teachers Association (ANAATA) Sunday sought “open clarification” and unconditional public apology from the SP. ANAATA president Hekiye Liriki and general secretary Solomon Ennio said such remarks were not expected from a responsible officer, supposed to be impartial and unbiased. The two executives claimed that the purported remarks posed a “threat” to the democratic set-up of the nation, as well as the reconciliation process within the state.
