ANFSA PHED: All Nagaland Field Staff Association (ANFSA) PHED expressed grief over the demise of it member N. Meren Ao on September 5. The association conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members.
ZAPO: Zuketsa Area Public Organisation (ZAPO) has condoled the demise of Wetele Thahu, W/o Kedutso Thahu and daughter of Nguzo-ü Losou, who was also the first graduate lady and an only lady government gazetted officer from their community. ZAPO while conveying condolence to bereaved family members, also prayed that Almighty God to grant solace to the family members.
GPRN/NSCN (I-M): The GPRN/NSCN (I-M) has mourned the demise of “Lt. Col” Asheto Sumi who passed away at Dimapur on September 9. A condolence message issued by regional secretary Sumi region stated that region caretaker Huvito Yepthomi Tata gave a brief account of late Asheto stating he was the senior most “Naga Army” and dutiful officer who selflessly rendered his life for national cause. Stating that late Asheto left behind his wife, children and thousands of soldiers, GPRN/NSCN (I-M) said late Asheto’s contribution for the national cause would always be remembered. GPRN/NSCN (I-M) further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
Phek NGO: Phek Collegiate Forum (PCF), Phek Students’ Union (PSU) and Joie De Vivre (JDV) Phek have mourned the untimely demise of Veruzo Vero who passed away on September 8 at his native village Phek after a prolong illness. The organizations expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of a dynamic leader and prayed for the departed soul rest in eternal place.
ETSU: Emlo-To Students’ Union (ETSU) has mourned the demise of Akuvuto Aye. Union conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
PCF: Phek Collegiate Forum (PCF) has expressed sadness over the demise of Verazo Vero, who passed away on September 8 at Phek village after a prolonged illness. Stating that his demise created a vacuum for the community, PCF mourned the loss and also conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the Almighty to grant them strength at their time of sorrow.
