Emergency joint meet at Tseminyu
KOHIMA: A joint emergency meeting of Tseminyu, Pughoboto sub-division and Wozhüro range will be held on September 24 at 10 am at Tseminyu Town hall to discuss matters relating to irregularities of power supply. All village council chairmen with two representatives under sub-division and range have been asked to attend the meeting without fail.
Ruzazho Thevopisu village meet
Kohima: All consulate forum of Ruzazho village and Thevopisu village have been informed that a consultative meeting will be held on September 17 at 11 am at Circuit guest house, Kohima. The Sara Vetho brotherhood reconciliation programme will be the main agenda in the meeting. All members have been asked to attend the meeting positively.
Mon DPDB meet
DIMAPUR: Mon District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting would be held on September at DC’s Conference Hall, Mon. Additional Development Commissioner (Planning), Mon has requested all members to attend the meeting.
Kohima DPDB meet postponed
DIMAPUR: The monthly meeting of the Kohima District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) for the month of September has been postponed to September 23, at 12.30 noon at DC’s Congress Hall, Kohima as most of the officers would be engaged at the World Bamboo Conference at Kohima.
Literary competitions at Jalukie
DIMAPUR: JVSA has informed that the literary competitions would be held on September 24 at Jalukie with Iherie Ndang, SP Peren as chief guest. Action song competition for class A and B would be held at I.T.M. School, Jalukie, class 1 to 4 (Group song (free style) at Christian school, Jalukie, class 5 to 7 (drawing competition) at GHSS Jalukie, class 8 to 10 (quiz competition) at SXSS Jalukie, class 11 and 12 (extempore speech) at Baptist High School, Jalukie.
UTA convenes meeting
DIMAPUR: Undergraduate Teachers’ Association (UTA) has convened a meeting for candidates of 2003 undergraduate teacher exam who have appeared viva-voice, on September 17, 10 am at the residence of its treasurer T. Mepu Imchen, River Belt colony Dimapur. Candidates have been informed to submit registration fees on the same day.
FKF to present program on “Act I”
DIMAPUR: Faith Kids Fellowship (FKF) of Great Commission Kids Academy Dimapur will be organizing a programme on “Act I” on September 19, 3 pm featuring Bible Bee and talent show. Academy has requested all parents and well wishers to attend the programme.
DC Tuensang inform LDA applicants
DIMAPUR: Deputy Commissioner Tuensang has informed applicants for post of LDA cum computer assistant of Tuensang district level to submit applications to EAC Tuensang, who has been given charge of designated officer for accepting applications under the district, by September 21.
NPF central women wing meeting
DIMAPUR: NPF central women wing meeting along with the minister in charge has been convened on September 24, 11am. All the office bearers have been requested to attend the meeting.
Physiotherapists meeting
DIMAPUR: A meeting for all the physiotherapists from Nagaland has been convened on September 18, 2pm at Mozhui apartment, H/No. 366 opposite SM College Duncan Basti. DPSU ‘day of labour’
DIMAPUR: Dimapur Phom Students’ Union (DPSU) would be organizing ‘day of labour’ on September 15. All colony representatives have been requested to lead the students for work in their respective colonies. It also requested the representatives to come to union treasurer after the work for discussion on the upcoming fresher day programme.
CMWT informs head master GHS Chingmei
DIMAPUR: Chingmei Multi Wedoshi Thangjam (CMWT) on September 8 inspected GPS Chingmei, GPS New Chingmei, Christian English School and GHS Chingmei and found that head master of GHS Chingmei was absent from duty since July 14 without any proper leave. In a press release jointly issued by T. Ebou, vice president and B. Yemlong, general secretary CMWT has informed the responsible head master to resume his duty on or before September 20.
Collection of honorarium
DIMAPUR: All supervisors and enumerators who conducted census under Dimapur town have been informed to collect their honorarium from Deputy Commissioner’s office on the respective days. Ward 1 to 10 would be paid on September 14 and ward 11 to 23 on September 15. Further, all responsible have been requested to bring their respective appointment order and official ID card.
TSU meeting
DIMAPUR: Tsaphimi Students’ Union (TSU) has convened a meeting on September 18, 10am at the residence of Atoho Assumi, PR Hill Kohima. All the committees and office bearers have been requested to attend the meeting.
Govt Polytechnic Kohima alumni meeting
DIMAPUR: Alumni of Government Polytechnic Kohima and Women Polytechnic Kohima who have undertaken Modern Office Practice (MOP) from 1994 to 2008 have been informed to attend a meeting on September 16, 9:30am at Government Polytechnic Kohima. TVYO ban hunting, fishing, gathering raw materials
KOHIMA: Tsiesema Village Youth Organization has resolved to impose total prohibition of hunting, fishing, collecting raw materials within the jurisdiction of Tsiesema area. Resolving this during a meeting held on September 12, the organization also decided to ban jungle burning, sale of vegetables or fruits by any individual or group without permission of the authority along NH 39-NH61 By Pass road. TVYO further cautioned that defaulters would be penalized.
Unemployed HTTI diploma holders meet
DIMAPUR: A general meeting of all unemployed Hindi diploma holders of HTTI Dimapur and CIH Agra has been convened on September 15, 10.30 am at Hindi Teachers Training Institute, Oriental Colony Dimapur.
Land Records and Survey inform LDA applicants
DIMAPUR: Candidates who submitted application for the post of LDA cum computer assistant (district level) earlier have been informed to collect their application during working days and re-submit it to the responsible DC in pursuance of P & AR Department advertisement. This has been informed in a press release issued by P. Acha, director Land Records and Survey.
