Azheto Zhimomi: Advisor for sericulture and co-operation, Azheto Zhimomi has expressed condolence on the demise of Hosavi Swu, head GB of Pimla village. The advisor described Hosavi’s death as a great loss to Western Sumis. While recalling the departed leader as one leader of Western Sumi loved by one and all for his simplicity, outspokenness and determination, Azheto said that it was very unfortunate the Western Sumi had to lose a fatherly figure. The Advisor, along with his wife and family further conveyed condolences to the members of the bereaved family while also praying that the departed soul will rest in eternal peace.
WSKH: Apeto Assumi, president, Western Sumi Kukami Hoho (WSKH), on behalf of WSKH condoled the demise of Hosavi Swu, head GB of Pimla village. As an able leader of the people, he was always instrumental in resolving social issues, added Apeto. The WSKH with remorse mourned the demise of great leader and prayed for eternal solace of the departed soul.
Pukhavi Yeptho: Former member, Dimapur Municipal Council Pukhavi Yeptho termed the demise of Hosavi Swu as irreplaceable loss to Sumi people. While describing Hosavi as the pillar of Western Sumi, Pukhavi added the departed soul has left behind a legacy of leadership in simplicity, which would continue to inspire the younger generations. In his demise, Pukhavi stated that Sumis have lost a vibrant leader in the form of Hosavi Swu.
Kakiho Achumi: Head GB, Kakiho village, Kakiho Achumi condoled the sudden demise of Hosavi Swu, head GB of Pimla village. In his demise, Kakiho stated that not only Pimla villagers have lost a dynamic personality but Sumis, particularly Western Sumi lost an upright and sincere leader who, till his last days, dedicated and devoted his time and energy for wellbeing and interest of the society. He further conveyed his deepest condolences to the members of the bereaved family and prayed the departed soul will rest in eternal peace.
NNC/FGN Sumi region: NNC/FGN Sumi region has expressed sadness over the demise of Hosavi Swu, head GB Pimla village. A condolence message issued by FGN “deputy kilonser” LOTA Hekhuvi Achumi stated that late Hosavi was a leader and a true patriot who advocated for peaceful co-existence among Nagas during his service for the nation. Stating that his demise was a great loss to the Nagas and Sumis in particular, FGN Sumi region further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
GB Union Dimapur: Dimapur GB’s Union has condoled the demise of Hosavi Swu, head GB of Pimla village, Dimapur who also served as convenor of customary court board of Dimapur GB Union from 1997-2008. The union stated that Hosavi as convenor effectively and amicably settled many complicated cases. It prayed that his soul may rest in peace and futher solace to the bereaved family.
CVC, CVYS: Chumoukedima Village Council and the Chumoukedima Village Youth Society have condolence at the demise of Nungsangrenba Longkumer, member of Chumukedima town council advisory board on October 12. It stated Nungsangrenba was a sincere and dedicated person who contributed a lot for the citizens of Chumukedima in various capacitates. The council and society prayed Almighty to give peace of mind to the bereaved family.
