WTC notification for Tokhu Emong festival cum-Road show

In view of the ensuing forthcoming Tokhu Emong Festival cum-Road show on November 7, all concerned have been directed that building materials lying on the road side should be removed within 5days from the date of issue of this order.
Administrator, Wokha Town Council (WTC), Athel O.Lotha in a notification stated individuals desiring to construct a house at the road side, should obtain construction permit from the office of Wokha Town Council before the construction is started and that owners of such construction ought to keep the nullahs neat and clean for free movement of vehicles.
Further more, all shop keepers have been directed to replace the worn out signboards with a new one in front of their respective shops within 5 days from the date of issue of this order. Anybody found failing to comply with the orders, WTC added defaulters would be penalized with a fine of Rs.2,500 as required under municipal Act of 2001 and arrested as required by law.
In pursuance of the decision of the joint co-ordination meeting of Wokha Town Council, OC traffic, Wokha taxi union, Wokha district autorickshaw union, Tiyi transport agency, Okho transport agency and Chukitong local taxi union on September 1, the following traffic is regulatory order has been issued which would come into force with immediate effect.
(a) Parking areas: Longsa bound taxi –PWD junction, Longsa/forest bound Autorickshaw –Vitozu compound, Chukitong bound taxi –Old NST garage/Mentchu, NST bound Autorickshaw –above P.E Ezung compound, hospital bound taxi –Tsumang lake, Truck parking –Mechanical office gate to AR Gate, Tata Mobile – opposite LTC Hall, Niryo bound taxi – Church gate.
(b) Taxi counter at police point area have been directed to park only two vehicles at a time in front of the counters.
(c) The main police point area has been declared as no parking zone for taxi/autorickshaw/buses/truck/tata mobile at peak hours i.e. from 7.30am to 4pm traffic defaulters would be penalized as per traffic rules and regulation, added the notification.
