First Baptist Theological College (BTC) alumni meet was on October 13 and 14. The inaugural address was delivered by Kewekha Mero, additional deputy commissioner, Pfutsero.
Mero in his speech challenged the gathering by stating that the business of theologians was soul winning.
He also cautioned that self-righteousness of Christian ministers was a “stumbling block for the ministry” of the gospel.
The resource persons were Dr. Chiekroveyi Cho, assistant professor, OTS Dimapur, Dr. Yiepetso Wezah, principal, BTC, Rev. Vezopa Tetseo, executive secretary, CBCC.
Greetings were brought by Rev. Dr. Dingu Kenye, former principal and Rev. Dr. Neingupe Chiero, academic dean.
The sessions were chaired by Neingupe-e Kazhie, Ezetshelhi Wezah, Azonuo Viluo and Rev. Senokhape Losou, vice principal.
At the jubilee celebration, alumni association of BTC was formed, and also decided to meet once in three years.
The association elected Renchamo Kikon, Lecturer, BTC as its president and Neingupe-u Kazhie, youth director, PTBC as its secretary.
