Rice hotels in Dmu to remain closed
DIMAPUR: Naga rice hotel union (NRHU), Dimapur has informed all Naga rice hotels of Zakiesatuo road, Eros lane, MST road, and Blue Hill lane to remain shut on October 21 in commemoration of its union day.
‘World Statistics Day’
DIMAPUR: The department of economics & statistics, Nagaland would be observing ‘World Statistics Day’ proclaimed by the United Nations general assembly with the rest of the world on October 20, 11am at the department’s conference hall under the theme ‘Celebrating the many contribution of official statistics’.
LSU meeting
DIMAPUR: Liphayan Students’ Union (LSU) Wokha has convened a meeting on October 24, 10 am at the residence of LSU organizing secretary, Duncan basti. All executives and senior members have been requested to attend the meeting.
ASAA election
DIMAPUR: All Saints alumni association (ASAA), Peren under the chairmanship of Haideutad Disuang held its first executive election on October 19 at All Saints Auditorium. The meet started with an invocation prayer by Rev. Fr. Roy MD, Principal of ASHSS, and welcome address by Pauning Elunglung. The ASAA in its first executive election, elected a team of office bearers to be led by president, Haideutad Disuang, vice president, Namnahei Nza, general secretary, Aron Ikie, joint secretary, Theresa Sephe, finance secretary, Pauning Elunglung and women co-ordinator, Paulamle Sephe.
Dmu pensioners’ meet
DIMAPUR: Dimapur District Pensioners’ Association (DDPA) has convened its executive committee meeting on October 22, 11 am at its office chamber. All members have been requested to attend the meeting.
