Shürhozelie urges NSBS&G to enroll students, churches

Nagaland State Bharat Scouts & Guides (NSBSG) ‘Action Plan-2010 to 2015’ and ‘Glimpses of the 100 years of scouting in India’, (celebrated in December 2009 from Kohima) was realised by Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, Minister Urban Development & Higher Education who is also the president NSBSG at his private residence on October 19.
Releasing the magazine, Dr. Liezietsu lauded state headquarter for coming up with an innovative and constructive vision for the organization.
He has also appealed to the officials of Nagaland State Bharat Scouts & Guides to create awareness and campaign for more enrollments, especially among school children and Churches in the state, and suggested programs should be worked out for other districts as well.
One minute silence was also observed in honor and remembrance of Lt. K. Peseye, State Chief Commissioner.
Dr. Liezietsu also congratulated Vimezhono Tetso SOC Guides and Ateiü Sekhose Headquarter Commissioner (Ranger) for representing India in two recent conferences held at Maldives and South Korea respectively.
The main aim and objectives of Vision 2015 is to “Consistently be a growing youth movement that will be self-reliant, value based, quality oriented, well managed and offering innovative, challenging program based on the needs and aspiration of the young people”.
Earlier, the meeting was chaired by Zakieo Metha, state secretary and a brief introduction on ‘Vision 2015 & Glimpses of 100 years of Scouting’ by former MP and vice-president Nagaland State Bharat Scouts & Guides, Khyomo Lotha.
