Notes of gratitude

DDGBA: Dimapur District GBs Association (DDGBA) has expressed gratitude to DMC chief advisor and development authority secretary and their colleagues for their help and contributions in hosting NGBF general session on October 14 at Dimapur. DDGBA has also thanked GBs of all 11 districts for their cooperation by “sacrificing their time and energy” for the cause of Naga unity, progress and development; and DC and SP Dimapur for providing security during the session.
Meanwhile, the association expressed hope that newly elected NGBF president Zhenito Yepthomi and general secretary Taku Longkumer would lead the GBs of the state in the interest of the Nagas as a whole.
CBS: School Managing Board of Chokri Baptist School, on behalf of Chetheba Town Baptist Church, staff, students and parents, has thanked Metsubo Jamir, director of Rural Development for contributing cash and CGI sheets while gracing the CBS parents day as chief guest on October 11. The school also thanked VCCs, VDB secretaries, VCMs, VEC chairmen, pastors, church workers, public leaders and institutional heads of Chetheba town and neighbouring villages, BDOs of Sekruzu, Kikrüma, Pfütsero and other officials for attending the programme.
AWS: Avühri Welfare Society has thanked DAN government under Neiphiu Rio for upgrading Government High School Meluri to higher secondary school. The society also thanked Nyeiwang Konyal, School education minister, Yitachu, parliemanetary secretary, tourism, law and justice and all officials of school education department for their support and interest in upgrading the school. The society said that it was a long felt dream come true for the people and expressed hope that the institute would produce value based and productivity education.
VHNC: The Village Health and Nutrition Committee (VHNC) Mezoma Village expressed gratitude to the villagers especially the womenfolk of Mezoma village for extending help in cleaning not only the entire village, but also in and round the PHC area on ‘sanitation day’ on October 15. VHCN also urged upon the womenfolk to carry out the same in future for the uplift of the village.
KDVA : Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA) has expressed sincere gratitude to V. Solo for accommodation, Nizheto Awomi and Advocate T Suhu –both for dinner, Kehoulelie for transportation, Zakieneituo for track suits, Medozhatuo Rusta for jersey and Ruokuoneilie for being the cook incharge during the recently concluded Niathu sports meet at Dimapur.
The KDVA also hoped that they would continue to do good services in the days to come and prayed the almighty God bless them abundantly.
OME: Odyuo Motsurui Ekhung (OME) Wokha has expressed gratitude to the people of New Riphyim village for hosting and rendering support for grand success of Odyuo clan meeting on October 15 with the theme ‘forgive and forget in love’. The programme was presided by R Phyobemo Odyuo, chairman of OME, Wokha unit. Before the commencement of the programme, an obituary time was held in order to pay homage to late N L Odyuo, member of Nagaland interim body and ex-minister. A Y Odyuo, NPF president Wokha district, Nyamo Odyuo of Pangti village and T Odyuo IFS, chief conservative of forest department were the speakers at the programme.
