NCWA executive meeting
DIMAPUR: Executive meeting of Nagaland Catholic Women Association (NCWA) would be held on October 2 to 4 at St. Joseph Parish, Chumukedima, Dimapur. All executive members, tribal, regional, presidents and general secretaries including former executive members have been informed to attend the meeting.
International Day for Older Persons
KOHIMA: Department of social welfare in collaboration with Nagaland Senior Citizens Forum Kohima would celebrate International Day for Older Persons on October 1 at 8:30 am Red Cross building Kohima. Advisor Art and Culture, Science and Technology, New and Renewable Energy, Deo Nukhu would be the chief guest. Declaration of essay competition result, recognition of senior citizens and a walkathon at 8 am from Old MLA junction to Red Cross building will mark the occasion. All citizens above 60 years of age have been invited to participate in the function in simple traditional attire.
Erhumren Okho, Pangti meeting
KOHIMA: Meeting of Erhumren Okho, Pangti been convened on October 17 at Doyang. All members have been asked to attend the meeting and to submit annual membership. Meanwhile, Erhumren Okho, Pangti has thanked its supporters who helped financially and morally during the 5th edition of Nagaland Open Volleyball Championship organized by NASU. The Okho specially thanked Kohima Pangti Ekhung for their financial assistance and encouragement.
YSU meeting
DIMAPUR: Meeting of Yanpha Students’ Union (YSU) has been convened on October 2, 10 am at the residence of it its auditor Cherri Shitiri at LRC colony. Executive members have been informed to submit two passports each at the meeting.
DIMAPUR: General meeting of Yongnyah Hongnyu Students Union Dimapur (YHSUD) has been convened on October 14, 7 am at the residence of Longkup near Phom Baptist Church.
PVBC CYE session
DIMAPUR: The 44th session of Phek Village Baptist Church (PVBC) Christian Youth Endeavor “2010 Youth Day” would be held from October 8 to 10 at the Church premises under the theme, “Youth & environment”. Suluveyi Rhakho, director, Harvest Ministry Singapore would be the speaker at the 3 days ‘youth day observation’ while youth director, Surhonieyi Soho will lead the congregation on October 9 and CYE advisor Huvekholu and pastor PVBC Nuchicho Venuh will the be leader during the introductory service and Sunday service respectively.
ANITITSA 1st general conference
DIMAPUR: All Nagaland Industrial Training Institute Teaching Staff Association (ANITITSA) would hold its first general conference on October 15, 11 am at Hotel Japfü Kohima. Employment & craftsmen training Nagaland additional director & HOD M. Sangtam would grace the conference as chief guest, while technical education Nagaland deputy director Er. Vipulhou Lhoungu will be the resource person. Association informed that election for its executives for the tenure 2010-13 would also be held on the same day. All instructors of various Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) of Nagaland have been requested to attend the programme.
St. Andrew school alumni meeting
DIMAPUR: General meeting of St. Andrew past pupils has been convened in October 2, 10 a.m at the school premises.
PSU (N) meeting
DIMAPUR: Meeting of Poilwa Students’ Union Nagaland PSU (N) has been convened on October 2, 1 pm to deliberate on various action plans. All executive members have been requested to attend the meeting.
KSU felicitation programme
DIMAPUR: Kuki Students’ Union (KSU) would be conducting a felicitation programme on October 2, 10am at the residence of late M. Hangshing, Signal Basti near St. Paul School. All Kuki students and its members have been informed to attend the programme.
