Six vehicles were set ablaze at Kohima’s Bayavü colony by unidentified miscreants in the wee hours of Friday.
The fire was reportedly detected at around 4 a.m. by locals of Kenuozou colony, who saw the fire and alerted Bayavü residents. The torched vehicles included a car and five 2-wheelers. Two bikes were completely burnt down, while the other vehicles were partially damaged.
The fire was suspected to have been set on a bike and gradually spread to nearby parked vehicles.
