Kiphire DPDB meeting
DIMAPUR: Kiphire District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting has been convened on October 5, 11am at the office chamber of DC, Kiphire.
Pochury Yemshe festival celebration
DIMAPUR: Pochury Women Hoho Dimapur would be organizing and hosting Yemshe festival on October 5, 11 am at Town Hall, Dimapur. The hoho has requested all Pochuries residing in and around Dimapur to participate in the festival and also extended special invitation to the in-laws in the festival. In Kohima, Yemshe festival would be celebrated at the Heritage on October 5, 10:30 a.m with parliamentary secretary justice and law and tourism Yitachu as the chief guest.
Dimapur AG Churches fellowship
DIMAPUR: The Dimapur A.G Churches youth joint bi-monthly fellowship would be held on October 3, 3 pm at AG Church, Bank colony with pastor Sumit from Bangalore as speaker.
JE vaccination drive in Mkg from Oct 4
DIMAPUR: District immunization officer (DIO), Mokokchung has informed all parents that Japanese Encephalitis (JE) vaccination drive for children between 1-15 years would be carried out in Mokokchung district from October 4-13. In this regard, the DIO has requested parents to ensure that all children between 1-15 years are given the JE vaccine from the nearest vaccination site. For further information one may contact the nearest health centre.
CKM presidential meeting
DIMAPUR: The presidential meeting of Changkikong Students’ Conference (CKM) has been convened on October 9, 10 am at the residence of its treasurer, Dr. Temsu Ozukum, Dimapur. All executives, secretaries and presidents of the confederating village unions have been requested to attend the meeting.

Sensitization programme
DIMAPUR: Deputy Inspector of Schools (DIS), Tuensang has informed that one day sensitization programme on mid-day meal and 8th AISE survey (finishing) would be held on October 8, 9:30am at Tuensang town hall. All SIS, coordinators, head teachers, teacher in charge and VEC/WEC chairmen have been requested to attend the programme.
Sechu Zubza to get DB court
DIMAPUR: DC Kohima, Bei-u Angami would inaugurate the DB customary court at Sechu Zubza on October 5, 11 am. In this connection, SDO (C) Sechu Zubza, Akuno Meyase has requested all GBs and Village Council Chairmen under Sechu Zubza to attend the programme.
PGSU (NUCK) parting social
KOHIMA: Post Graduate Students’ Union, Nagaland University Campus Kohima PGSU (NUCK) will have its parting social on October 5 at 10 am at Ura Academy Hall. Commissioner secretary, health and family welfare, Menukhol John will be the chief guest.

KOHIMA: An emergency assembly meeting of the Chakhesang Students’ Union Kohima will be held on October 6 at 11 am at NSF conference hall. All units/colleges have been asked to send two representatives to the assembly.
EAP venue changed
KOHIMA: The two day entrepreneurship awareness programme (EAP) scheduled to be held on October 6 at 10 am at DC’s conference hall Kohima has been changed to district industries centre, Kohima due to unavoidable circumstances. All committee members and entrepreneurs applying for the programme have been asked to take note of the change of venue. However the time and date would remain unchanged.
VCCU Peren district meeting circular
DIMAPUR: Village council chairman union (VCCU)Peren district has convened a meeting on October 4 at 10am at town hall Jalukie town. All village council chairmen under Peren district have been requested to attend the meeting.

PEN conducts career guidance
DIMAPUR: Peoples’ Education Network (PEN) conducted its 4th career guidance program for class x (ten) students on September 30. Altogether 200 students from six different schools attended the program. Various career options such as civil services, technical studies, medical, MBA, CA, Social Work etc., were highlighted.
Landmark colony public meeting
DIMAPUR: A joint meeting of Landmark colony council, youth sporting club and women union landmark colony, Dimapur held a meeting on September 29 at the residence of N. M. Ovung (council banker/treasurer) and has decided to convened a general public meeting on October 4, at 4 pm at children park landmark colony.
Zunheboto to observe RTI week
DIMAPUR: Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto has informed that Zunheboto district would be observing right to information (RTI) week from October 5 to 12 as per the directive of Nagaland information commission. In this regard a meeting of AAs, PIOs and APIOs would be held on October 8, 12 noon at DC conference hall. Further an essay competition on related topic for college/university level would be held at GHSS Zunheboto on October 9 from 10 am to 12 noon.
