Nagaland NSS at mega camp in Delhi

NSS-Unit of Nagaland State along with the rest of the country attended the NSS Mega Camp (organizes by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt of India) from September 19 to 3 at Ambedkar Bhavan, Rani Jhansi road, New Delhi.
The 12 day camp involved seven days of camping activities in Delhi and five days of educational visit/local sight seeing to Solang Nala, Manali, Himachal Pradesh for Adventure sports. During their stay in Delhi, volunteers participated in the nss foundation Day/Indira Gandhi NSS award function on September 24 at Vighyan Bhavan.
NSS team included programme officer, NSS of Patkai Christian College Bendangnungsang, as team leader and 14 volunteers selected from 7 institutions. The Programme was a learning experience of revealing to different culture and tradition and societies.
Meanwhile, Nagaland NSS has extended gratitude to Kenneth Punyü, state liaison officer and directorate of youth resources and sports, Kohima for providing opportunity to the volunteers to attend the camp.
