Kohima village peace club cum induction programme was inaugurated on October 4 at Kohima village in presence of Atuolie Mepfhü-o, chairman, Kohima village council. In his message, the chairman said there was no one in this world who does not deserve peace, and lauded the initiative taken by Peace Channel in this present scenario. Victor Kevilhouthie Yhome, coordinator, Kohima district, Peace Channel presented the concept, vision and objectives of the Peace Channel movement to the gathering. Others who spoke at the programme included Neidonuo, chairperson, Awakening Bells Centre, Sister Biya, Medical Mission Sisters and Medoitseinuo Whuorie. Medochülie Pienyü, associate pastor, Baptist Revival Church invoked God’s blessings over the programme. On the occasion, 22 youth took the peace pledge.
