Dubbed as Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS)-”Rock Reach”, an initiative by National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) will start at Dimapur from October 18 and culminate on November 27 at Dimapur.
Addressing a press conference at Dream Café on Sunday, NSACS chairman and commissioner and secretary health and family welfare said that “Rock Reach” is all about reaching out the message of HIV and AIDS through music (Red Ribbon Super Star Campaign) and aimed at capitalizing on the popularity of music among the youth in Nagaland.
There will be two stages in the competition - district and state level. The ‘Road Reach’ crew will reach out to all 11 districts of Nagaland about a month’s time.
The winner from each district will be invited to participate in the state level grand finale scheduled to be held on November 27 in Dimapur.
He also informed that the each state winner will get to perform at a mega concert at Delhi in January 2011.
