CTC notifies on removal of hoardings

Chumukedima Town Council (CTC) has notified departments, organisations and agencies whose hoardings and advertisement were displayed under Chumukedima jurisdiction to contact office of CTC on or before November 12. According to CTC chief advisor Thepfulhoutuo Shuya most of the advertisements, hoardings displayed were done without prior permission of CTC which is mandatory as per section -161 of the Nagaland Municipal Act 2001.
Failing to report to the office, CTC would be compelled to remove the hoardings without further notification, CTC advisor stated.
Following are the departments, agencies and organisation whose advertisements are displayed. Department of veterinary and animal husbandry, Nagaland state dairy cooperative federation Ltd., Nagaland bamboo development agency, Nagaland state AIDS control society, department of health and family welfare, National handloom, 2010, development commissioner, ministry of textile, government of India, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Dimapur mission authority, Nagaland Leprosy elimination programme, cell department of health service, Bible society of India, Dimapur auxiliary, G.W Lee and family, S. Tel GSM mobile service, north east India, Dimapur, National Bee Keeping and Honey Mission.
